4chan threads are temporary. They usually disappear after a couple of minutes/hours.

You could try a 4chan archive and do a search for "bitcoin". But 99 percent of threads aren't archived and are gone forever.

Reminder: a large portion of people there were (and still are) mocking it and calling it Buttcoins. And if you'd listened to those guys, where would you be? There were a fair amount of threads though sure.

I know this is an old thread but I was able to find about a dozen 4chan threads dating back to 2012 on an old USB stick. I wrote a script to make them readable again and posted them online (they were missing all of their formatting although the original images were intact). Just a word of caution: Some of the images that I found were pretty strange and possibly disturbing to some - e.g. there was one poster in particular who kept posting furry porn along with his replies:

You can check 4chan archive. Everyone seems to be against Bitcoin these days in 4chan tho, all these idiots in /biz/ think they've got a clue on whats going on.

I haven't been on 4chan in a couple of years but what are they saying? I can't see why people over there would be against bitcoin unless they A) Lost money by investing or B) didn't invest anything and missed the bitcoin boat.

Those old Bitcoin threads would definitely be cool to see. I think they are gone now though.

They see a chart that's been going downwards, that's all. Bitcoin is an easy target. Their analysis is based on emotion rather than any technical understanding.

If the price started going up again they'd start being positive.
