With the facility close to being overrun by ISIS fighters, the prison guards did the unthinkable.

Quote
Iraqi prison guards carried out the slaughter before Iraqi forces withdrew.

Quote
dozens of bloated, twisted bodies found in a ditch were believed to have been executed by Iraqi guards before they withdrew.

Quote
one of the guards opened a cell and threw a grenade into it

Quote
they opened fire with a machine gun

Quote
bodies of men are piled on top of one another.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

They have no other choice. If those prisoners if left alive they will joined ISIS and in turn will slaughter Iraq army. You have to understand the world you live in is very differently from theirs. In their world, you have to kill if not you are the one who will get killed.

This is the unfortunate reality.

But what has caused the instability in Iraq which allows this type of event to take place? Hmmmm

They were making a rational decision.

Kill your enemy before they kill you.
