Yeah there are numerous people on the bitocin otc irc channel. You should be able to buy coins at mtgox rate for face value of the moneypak.

The site seems to be having an issue this morning (actually half the internet seems to be doing that to me) but his service is really nice and simple.

Step 1: Goto www.BTCPak.com

I actually knew about btcpak.com; I am wondering if trading directly would get me a better rate.  On the other hand, the guy behind btcpak.com is a trusted member and risk would be very low.
