Yep, paypal is subject to chargebacks, while bitcoins are not. It's dangerous to sell bitcoins for paypal if you don't trust the person buying from you.

Paypal transactions can be reversed, bitcoin cannot I don't know about moneybookers or neteller but no one in their right mind would buy paypal from a newly registered member. |

I got a good price for 500btc here some time ago by paying via ACH push ("direct deposit"). You could call your bank and see if they'll do that. It takes a few days to clear, so you may have to wait for delivelry until then, but that's not so bad if you're planning to hold them for a while.

If you pay using your bank balance or paypal balance rather than credit or debit card, there are no chargebacks as far as I'm aware?

I'm currently in the red at paypal (my stupid fault) the guy payed with an e-cheque (which has to come from his bank account) and has held his payment which I already withdrew. So yeah, paypal has chargebacks on every funding source |

Yeah, but that's e-cheque. Not bank debit. an e-cheque is drawn on your bank account. it's the same thing |
