I like to concentrate on the positive of 5800 confirmed. Gotta break a few eggs to make an omelet.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I actually am waiting on exact answer of this from the dev creator but didn't want to leave you hanging thinking I was trying avoid the question. The target timespan is 168 Hrs with target spacing 3 mins.  Once I have definitive answer I will post. Sorry.

We are currently working on trying to develop a block explorer.  Once available we will post details.

Stay tuned, and thanks for your support.

On linux, the file must be named "coin.conf" (do not substitute "republiccoin" for "coin", literally it's "coin.conf") in the directory /home/<youruser>/.republiccoin.
Replace <youruser> with your username. Ubuntu, jiminycricket, whatever. Cheesy
On first run, if the folder doesn't exist, it will be created.

OK, I've just run this coin for the first time, and all the files that usually appear in %Appdata/Roaming have appeared in Downloads/winqt. Should I be concerned? Windows 7
