I have in my hands few pcs with GPUs. I was mining all the day dogecoin on 4 pcs and got 6k gode. Is that good? I want to mine most profitable coin on this day, becuase they are free pcs, but after 1-4 weeks will stay servers and I won't be able to mine on them. I have another PCs and can up the speed to ~20 mh/s scrypt

So, if I will mine doge, won't I lose with that?

I've read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=461360.760 ("Why Doge coin is bad"), so I see many miners consider this "shitcoin" and they have convince me Grin What else? Litecoin? Maybe, this is popular coin and won't die. But it has big difficulty and because hard to mine. I think here should be some new coin which has less difficulty and bigger profit that I can made on it within this month. I will post here my ideas

For GPU mining not SCRYPT coins, try X11, X13, X15, KECCAK, NIST5 or JHA.

Why not try and sell your GPU's for a nice price and them buy Bitcoins with them? I mean, now that Newegg accepts Bitcoin there will be a bubble anytime soon...

I can use it only 1-1.5 months, after the server will be runned on them. So, I cannot move those PCs physically and sell it too Shocked I just heard about *coins 2-3-4 years ago and only now joined to the community. For gotten money I wanted to buy my new pc, but as I see I won't buy even body for it lol

But remember that I can increase the speed up to ~25 mh/sec.

@topnetdeal, I used calculator and it showed that I will get the same profit as if I mined LTC

No way, on scrypt You must pay 2 x more for power like on other algo, see here :

i got the same problem

been mining  for 137 days on clever-mining pool ......i don't see the point of mining any-more with my 2.2MH/s (gpu),with litecoin  getting more difficulty  and   the per MH/s rate dropping every day.

so what should i do  invest more (gridseed) ? or just stop ,as the power bill is more than profit these days Sad

thanks

aren't all the altcoins based on the litecoin price ? if that's dead where will it leave them ? basically cant the same thing happen to them all altcoins.  mine them till the difficulty too high
or just kill it with another version of asci miner that eventually kill that coin too...

dont even waste your time with X11, its full of FPGA whores, hence the rather larger net hash rate. take a look into cryptonight. currently has better profitablility then most other algos atm.

does it has any reasons for growing rates in the future? or only just-now profit?

at current its more for profit. how ever the devs of several coins are working hard to bring new features. plus its a newish algo thats still undiscovered...

Check out Monero

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.0

That's what I'm on to these days, went from scrypt -> scrypt-n -> x11 -> x13 -> cryptonote

I think it's just more fun, it's still very much an emerging technology so there are constant interesting developments

And it's currently the most profitable thing you can mine (if you can get it working properly  Wink )

Been mining Sync on the multipool in hopes it will skyrocket. Getting to the point where I might need to look at XMR again. Reserve cash is getting tight can't keep mining out of pocket much longer.

Seems like not much at all is really profitable now.   Every time a coin reaches a profit calculator it gets dragged to the depths by the masses.  Jackpotcoin had a good run, but now it's fading into mediocrity now too.
