This morning I was browsing internet with my iPhone, I opened big picture and my screen started to lag, I turned my screen off because it usually helps but now my screen is black and it won't open anymore Shocked
It have been like this 9 hour now...
I still can open siri, talk to siri and my phone vibrates when I put it in silence mode, but screen just stays black.
What can I do  Embarrassed

you probably need to replace your screen.. you can look up a service on craigslist to do it, or do it yourself if you're feeling up to the task.

You could reset it by holding power and home button for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo reappears. This will not wipe the data inside, just reboot the phone. See if this works, if it doesn't, it's a hardware problem. Good luck.

Worked, thanks.
I didn't even know this reset thing, and I have tried to find it before.

Glad it worked. I had a similar problem on my iPad and this fixed it. I didn't know this reset feature either before that happened. Don't you just wish these modern electronics comes with a nice old fashioned manual like it used to?  Embarrassed

Nah, I never read manuals anyway, they are too long Grin
But it should be easier to find, I mean, I couldn't even find it with google...
Maybe online manual would be good, you could use search so no need to read whole manual.

There are manuals.. it's called Google  Grin

I've had a few iphones and there is a lot you can do with it at a click of a button. Check out how to jailbreak your phone and you'll really learn what you can do with your apple..  Wink

I bought new laptop lately and now it can't find my phone, so I can't jailbreak it or even connect it to iTunes.
I have jailbreaked it but then I upgraded it so it isn't jailbreaked anymore.
I have tried to google why it won't work and I have tried many things to make it work but nothing works Sad

It is fixed now.
