Hi all... I live in Japan and there aren't a whole lot of great options for getting BitCoins for me. I am attempting to get my hands on some Liberty Reserve dollars so I can fund my Mt. Gox account but it's taking time. Anyone live in Japan that can accept a bank transfer? I don't have any reputation so if possible I want to do this in 4 transactions of 25,000 JPY each to minimize risk. Any takers that want to give me a price?

Thanks!

EDIT: I would like to purchase at least 400 BTC for this amount.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

According to xe.com, that would be 1,224.49 USD, meaning a rate of $3.061225 / BTC

(Just stating facts, no connotations intended)

Yeah, I know. Smiley

I am just saying that is the minimum I will accept should the value exceed $3/BTC on Mt. Gox. Preferably I would like to go by the current Mt. Gox rate at the time, whatever that may be.

You would think that since Mt. Gox is based out of Japan they would have a Japanese bank account to transfer funds to... :/

Awesome, I will deposit right away (although the banks are closed now and they might be tomorrow too for the holidays here...).

How long does it usually take for transfers received to your bank account in Japan to be credited to my btcex account?

Okay bitcoinex, got everything ready to go... The transfer won't process until Monday though. Now to just hope someone is willing to fill my order. Tongue

From Japan very few visitors, but I think everything will be fine if the price will be reasonable

It would be neat if you could allow conversion to/from other currencies (such as USD) once your account is funded so that people can fill orders for any currency with the funds they have in their account. Not sure of the logistics involved for that kind of thing though...

It is not possible because this is the essence of the exchange. If you could change the currency in different countries that exchange was not necessary.
