CoinAd now accepts FirstBits addresses!  Smiley

http://firstbits.com/

Now you just need to type that small and simple FirstBits Address.

Awesome going to try it now.

To advertisers:

Some users have many active ads in their accounts, while others have only one or two.
When someone entered the site was only seeing ads from the same user, wich caused a disadvantage for others.
So I limited the number of ads displayed per user. The max. number of ads that can be displayed on the front page per user is now two.

You can still have many ads active in your account, but only two will be shown. Those two ads are randomly choosen on each page reload.

I think this is the best for everyone.

Doesn't that just mean that people who want more ads up have to make more accounts now?

I don't see how it was an unfair advantage, they are paying more for the privilege right?

You people have seriously to stop advertising in this thread  Roll Eyes

This is not a rip-off, it's a competitor with better features compared one by one. Straight up your facts before try a troll attempt.

It looks the same, and offers the same. This service was last in time.

How is it not a rip off then?

It even offers the same standard BTC amount 0.001.

I am genuinely curious and not involved with either service.

You can buy a bunch of clicks or views and only add them when you want. It is cheaper.

Even if it was identical, now new bitcoiners can get roughly twice as much.

Even if it was identical we now have redundancy and are less likely to be stuck without a service like this.

First of all dailybitcoins doesn't own the 0.001 mark, actually CoinAd used to offer a little more few days ago, anyway that doesn't make them a rip off. In terms of advertisement quality CoinAd.com is MUCH better (I've used both and I know what I'm talking about).

Second you've NOT used the system for sure, your comment speaks for yourself. Please straight up your facts.

Please note I'm not connected to ANY of this services, I'm a user just like you are.

I'm a cheater. OK.
But you do not have TOS.
You don't have rules.

How do you define "cheaters"?
It seems very vague... You get to decide who's cheating, who's not.

How exactly am I a cheater?

Where is was written how much IP addresses a person could use and how many referrals I can get?

Once again. Only you can decide. No rules. No TOS. Just your opinion...

I suspect if one of others using you "service" get some BTC's from referring,
you will ban them also in order not to pay them?

Make some rules, so everyone can obey them.

Anyway. You copied an idea, you want to make profit from it.
I understand that, but without rules it's just a dictatorship.

This is new...
After all I was right about the rules.  Grin

Now a bit more technical questions:

If I use your site from one IP, you deduct views from all of the shown ads, and send me the amount (0.001BTC) that I requested, am I correct?

Few hours later my IP is changed from my ISP. I reopen the site. Do you deduct views for the shown ads from the new IP?
I cannot request another payment with the same address, but I can enter a new one and still request the 1BTM reward.

In this case who loses? Advertisers still receive their views and clicks. I still receive 1BTM.

I use DailyBitcoins almost everyday, they don't ban me for showing me the ads and receiving clicks from me.
You do.

I don't see anything wrong with having competition. More Bitcoins for everyone, right?

You do.

Let me make this clear:
You can only request ONE payment a day.

What's the point of showing the same ads to the same person several times a day?

You got banned for requesting more that one payment a day, not for using different IP addresses to access the site. And stop making yourself look inocent, you received more than 5 payments a day for a long time.

And please, don't compare CoinAd to any other site. This is an independent project.

You get cranky... Grin

And you still haven't answer my questions.

I accept that you ban me. I'm not a child.
I don't claim to be innocent. I never said that.

But for me, and for everyone else in here I think, these questions are legitimate and deserve to be answered.

I get that, you are "Independent" project, copied another one's idea, twisted to serve your goals.

I wish you all the luck.
With this kind of attitude, you will need it.

As an advertiser, I don't want to pay you for viewing or clicking on my ads several times per day. Preferably, you'd only see them once a week, but that's not how the site works. Maybe if some more people start advertising.

Speaking of which, I think you could increase the limit on how many ads a user can submit for moderation at the same time.

Right now, there's a limit of three ads waiting. I tend to prepare my ads when the moderator is sleeping, and the limit of three pending ads makes the process of submitting new ads cumbersome. I've currently designed a campaign with ten ads, but uploading it will take quite some time because I have to upload three, wait for moderation, then upload another three and so on. I don't see why you cant set the limit higher, like 100 ads?

Thanks for raising the limit! I understand why you have to moderate the ads. I also think it's good, now I know you have no objection to my Penis water gun ad Smiley

Yes, a "Delete" button for old ads would be useful.

How's that delete button coming? Also, will you implement country identification for click IP's? It would be interesting and useful to see where my clicks are coming from.
