I wanted to post this as well, but searched and found it. Every highschool econ class in the US needs to watch this and be tested over the transcript... word...

Lets link the first one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0nERTFo-SkThe second one is clearly better produced and the music is better, but there is something about the first one that makes me like it more.

This. Nice to see the evolution from things like "Auto-tune the news". Old people bitching and moaning about how "kids these days" only watch music video and are listening too all of that (c)rap. . .beautiful

That Round 2 video is awesome. I really like the part where Hayek talks about planning by a few and planning by the many. Classic

The level of the production of the video is incredible. Close to genius in my opinion. +1
Love the scene that shows Bernanke as the godfather/mafioso burning money with his cigar.
Keynes: "We could have done better had we only spent more, too bad that only happens when there is a world war". Even today, this seems like a religious conviction for some governments I dont want to name.

The quotes from the end of the first video were awesome:
"The curious task of economics is to demonstrate to men how little they really know about what they imagine they can design." - Hayek
“The ideas of economists and political philosophers, both when they are right and when they are wrong, are more powerful than is commonly understood. Indeed the world is ruled by little else. Practical men, who believe themselves to be quite exempt from any intellectual influence, are usually the slaves of some defunct economist.” - Keynes

This is the third class i've taken there, its a very good opportunity to really learn about economics, check it out the class here: http://academy.mises.org/courses/keynes-krugman-and-the-crisis/

Weird it got all the attention until today.
Eitherway, my favourite part is the "mechanical" part, quantitative easing being a spark and calling war time prosperous times. Hayek Managed those quite easily.
The ending was awesome, this is just brilliant, informative, and compelling.

The second part is simply brilliant.
"Creating employment is a straight forward craft, when the nation's at war and there is a draft, if every worker was staffed in the army and fleet we'd have full employment. And nothing to eat."
