I ask because I tried to send an email to the contact on the website, but it bounced back to me.
 
anyone had any problems with buying anything from them recently?
 
If so (or if not), are there any alternatives for buying Amazon gift certificates?

I haven't used the site over the last week, but I'm a regular customer and I've bought a lot of gift cards from the site and I've never had the slightlest trouble. In fact their support team has always gotten back to me pretty quickly whenever the cards have been delayed (never over an hour) and once when I sent more than the specified ammount they promptly returned it. I know there are various alternatives, but I recommend this one wholeheartedly, in case you have any doubts though you should try their support mail again sometime later (support@btcbuy.info).

EDIT: Just purchased a gift card and received it promptly, so no issues with the site as of now.
