although an effort it will never be a good one. That multipool will always depend on the other coins to do well so they can trade. In other words.. the pool depends on POW. ironically it could be mining litecoin.. Why do you think this effort will not be a good one? Look a bit further ahead. There will always be miners with hardware (well, I can't really say 'always', but at least the next 2-3 years - we can be sure of that time frame). Miners don't care what to mine as long as it's profitable. They can mine Litecoin, Bitcoin, anything else. The pool depends on PoW, so what? In the NXT philosophy PoW was a bootstrapping mechanism that brought it into existance (it was an IPO launched with Bitcoins), nothing wrong with PoW in that aspect. I dont know why so many haters about NXT. It has the best features of all coins out there. Look at the developement progress, the interviews on youtube with some developers. For me its technically the best system, but look at yourself and download and test it before spamming this thread without knowledge. Also the biggest advance is that this coin is secure without mining and dont consume much power like the other systems.

Market cap doesn't care about how many units are in an asset or currency, market cap is market cap, if there are more units in one asset/currency than the other, all other factors being equal - each individual unit of that asset/currency is just cheaper, that's all. The word scam is definitely not the word you want to use when referring to NXT. Unlike countless crypto scams NXT seems to provide great features, great community, hard-working devs, a stable growth in value and most importantly it is still a bargain to hop on the train. Bottom line: Nxt is the full package! |

There is definately a trend there... maybe this will help to decide when LTC / NXT ratio < 1 |

Scam is certainly not the right word, the first distribution could be better. But what do you expect from the first 100% PoW coin? The registration was open for more than 60 days! That is way longer than most other altcoins do nowadays. Only a few people took the risk to send there BTC to this weird guys called BCNext…and I am jealous at them for it!  But that is what it is, Nxt has still a lot of potential, even to get bigger than Bitcoin. So I will HOLD what I got and wait a few years. |
