Definitely give it a try. In case there is new dev we can always hard fork and swap all users except of Nullu (if he doesn't pop up) and then have some bounty available for the new dev from the remaining new coins. So technically we can offer some bounty, the amount may be subject to public discussion. The problem is to find someone.
I'd like to cordially invite you all to consider a "reverse-merger" into 2GIVE https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=741714.0The whitepaper/value proposition is here: http://bit.ly/2GiveCoinWith daily updates posted on FB: https://www.facebook.com/projectgivecoin/A "reverse merger" would essentially mean establishing a valuation and then asking an exchange to facilitate a coin-swap from PMP:2GIVE We are planning something similar for a couple of other thinly supported ALTS. If anything, we'd welcome the additional help with our "air drop" that is going on right now. Thanks for your time and consideration. -dvd I don't dislike the idea. PMP is dead for quite long time already and thus it need some fresh air, if this is to go somewhere. What is the total supply of 2GIVE foreseen? I am asking that to check what the possible valuation of such swap would be. Current number of PMP in circulation is somewhere between 400k and 500k coins. Thanks for thoughtful reply -- it's refreshing in a world where the AltFanBoys cry "scam or spam" the when such offers are made ;-) The total supply is 500M with approximately 250M going to the Bittrex V1 swap next week. Normally a valuation is based on market cap pricing as of some ex-div date etc etc. I can assure you that 2GIVE is being actively developed, in part to bring about some of the ideas in http://bit.ly/idcoins -- as we will be doing a "get verified" feature on website/community forum to determine stakeholder ranking -- going forward we want to introduce a new "Proof of Identity" block type into the chain. This weekend we picked up another dev (old friend of mine) -- he was able to get the code to compile on the native Mac OS X "clang" toolset with Boost 1.60 to build a 64-bit binary!! -- We have already started accepting his pull requests back into the main branch to uplift the entire stack. Github link: http://github.com/LittleDuke/2GIVEThe other thing to note is that unlike many of the ALTs -- we are not anonymous ;-) I'd encourage you to grab a copy of our wallet or build from source and "setgenerate true" to compete for the block rewards we're "airdropping" onto the chain -- 100K blocks producing 1K rewards every 1/2 hour for the first 30 days to power up the POS component, and right now we're dropping 1M blocks to Bittrex for the swap producing 10K rewards randomly throughout this week. No rush -- just wanted to make the introduction and get the conversation started! -dvd

Exactly my thoughts as well. Before I can say if I support this or not I should have some idea of the figures. "The worth of the thing is the price it will bring" 2GIVE is set to open on Bittrex next Tuesday May 10th -- after the massive "airdrop" we're doing wraps up -- there will still be regular drop every half hour during the first 30 days to seed the POS emit for the chain. Does PMP have a market cap history somewhere to help calibrate? Is it currently traded? We have come to an agreement with the Clean Water Coin (WATER) team and so we will likely do that deal first in the coming weeks. Would love to hear your thoughts on our design though in the mean time? http://bit.ly/2GiveCoinThanks for considering this! Fundamentally my primary interest is in building the support for an ecosphere and that requires stakeholders. -dvd

At least we should have a newest copy of the blockchain before we can get our hands on working with this. Other solution is to re-roll this project from the right start with the same concept but different way to distribute than sending message to someone to be added on the list like that. I myself love the way how coins are distributed of Faucetcoin, via yobit free coins. So everyone can easily access to the coin

*EDITED* Found the code will take a look... https://github.com/themightyx/premineplus- currently not traded - http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/premineplus/ To move the coin, we need a wallet to mine blocks. PMP is currently POS only and I think setgenerate is not active in the wallet. The Blockchain isn't moving at all. Just to keep this in mind. This is was one of the design considerations identified in 2GIVE and WHY it supports both POS and POW. Are you saying no one is running a live wallet and staking ATM? Or is the POS broken?? Even if it's POS only the SENDs should still work -- as long as someone is staking and folding those TX into their blocks. Where is the code I can download and build? I'll take a quick look, but likely cannot tinker with it until after the Bittrex exchange of 2GIVE goes live next Tuesday -- THEN I'll have more bandwidth (mentally anyway) ;-) -dvd

Okay looking at the code and the resulting Windows Wallet -- that is one messy distro... I was able to get 2GIVE to build as a static binary into a single .exe (on windows) and we have QR code support working... http://2Give.Info/#downloadLooks like some interesting ideas -- fired up the Windows Wallet and it's syncing against two peers Here's an address if someone feels like bouncing some coins around : PWMKVcLQKtfw9uoHTMcFiGa8gEMBf36FqJ ALSO, appears that "setgenerate true" works in the console....but will have to look at the block emit code since i'm sure if you're POS only now after some blockheight it's not doing anything, and i would be surprised if the chain accepts empty POW blocks.... in main.cpp: if (IsProofOfWork() && nHeight > POW_CUTOFF_BLOCK) return DoS(100, error("AcceptBlock() : No PoW block allowed anymore (height = %d)", nHeight)); { "version" : "v0.7.7.0", "protocolversion" : 60009, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 0.00000000, "newmint" : 0.00000000, "stake" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 5065, "moneysupply" : 1002222.22322900, "connections" : 2, "proxy" : "", "ip" : "192.169.7.69", "difficulty" : 0.00024414, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1462542616, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "errors" : "Info: Currently minting one or more stake amounts." }

The blockchain is fine, but almost all wallets are offline/forgotten. That's why we need setgenerate to make sure blocks are moving. If everyone wants to send their coins no coins are left for staking ...

Wallet seems stuck at 30000 blocks !?! Stopped wallet, now all I get is a blank dialog when I start -- must be what that DeleteBlockChain batch file is for - LOL !?! Staking should be happening without setgenerate (unless you guys wired that in to be your staking??) The UI is telling me I generate four 0 valued TX's but LISTTRANSACTIONS shows nothing :p In 2GIVE the MINT and the GENERATE are two different things -- you can actually enable/disable both from the UI now: "The Worth of the Thing is the Price it will Bring" Just to calibrate what I have to offer -- we currently have ~40 persistent connections on each of our seed nodes and growing, active development and on Tuesday a tradable coin on Bittrex. Assuming I can get your wallet to build/run and coin sends actually work, what's your reaction to a 1:1 swap? I'd generate individual receive addresses, you send me your PMP and I'll send you 2GIVE individually -- chances are good you could pick up some of the "airdrop" we have going on right now that would improve your stake. From my perspective, marketcap aside, my time and energy are worth a lot to me -- just to put things in perspective I spent more on Trademarks, legal fee's and outside counsel including accountants to vet the 2GIVE whitepaper ( http://bit.ly/2GiveCoin) in the last month than either original GIVE or the last valuation for PMP was worth combined. That's my opening offer....1:1 swap assuming I can get a stable PMP wallet online and fully sync'd... Your thoughts? -dvd

FYI I just built a linux daemon from scratch and put one online on one of our 2GIVE seed nodes to see if it can sync...
you can addnode=192.169.7.65
if it works ;-)
(evidently your wallet doesn't have the 'addnode <ip> add|delete command in the console?)
stay tuned

Okay that's pretty funny -- two of your nodes are our seed nodes ;-) I'll pick one on the standard port and see if it will accept the connect and not throttle down the block pull. yeah since I have no coins and I can watch it run in a sandbox, the downside is pretty low... unless you or it asks me to "sudo" up to execute it :p Currently one of our seed nodes is up to: "blocks" : 74496, the debug shows waves of blocks coming in fits and spurts -- around 2/13/2015 atm... I say let's see if it can sync on its own first -- give it a few more hours and then we can come back and visit doing a blk0001.dat sync if you don't mind?
