Can I somehow find out if someone was banned on bitcointalk ?
Is there some indication on his profile page or anything ?

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Nope, there is no current way but I think one should be implemented. You could PM Badbear and he might be able to tell you whether they have or not if given the circumstances.
