If you refresh then all those "round" numbers will be gone. My fault or mtgox - I'm working on this topic...

yes but any user that does not hit F5 (or ctrl f5) can say wtf look at that ghost wall and can push the market up each time this orders go up there is more buy that sell
Right. clarkoody got the same problem at the moment: Left side is running without refresh since couple minutes Right side is fresh refresh As you can see there's also "bad" growth on bid side. And where is that growth? All bad data you will get just just before ~4.9 Goxing? I don't know.. But this looks like someone found bug and make use of it. This is affecting only socket (socketio, don't know how's websocket) data.

any news from mtgox ? I've reported that. But they are close now and will read about this issue at 10am (now it's 5:13 JST...). Anyway I'm adding right now extra refresh from http api every minute. This should help a lot with current problem.

any news from mtgox ? what are you guys saying? someone could be making the bid walls appear on the live chart without actually placing an order? by some how injecting the api with extra data? Synchronizing the order book has been the most challenging part of building the live data site!

I think the live charts troll is gone, the "hack" was week in that if you refreshed, his bids would disappear.

MtGox is saying that there's no problem...
Maybe someone with bot experience can check if this will work - start rapidly adding and removing bid with 512/256/128 as amount at price like 4.87954 ?
