Good article but :-) bitcoin already has changed the world of development and it's just going further and further.  Which is obviously a very very good thing.

The remittance market is a huge industry and one where bitcoin could really thrive. I think this is just another way bitcoin can truely help people and bring about further change.

This should take off as more and more people make the switch over from their present version of mobile payments. It'll be interesting to see what next months transfers look in terms of % increases from the first month.
