So for some unknown reason my portable version would not find the wallet anymore. I followed the advice given on the website and restored from seed and created a new wallet. The old transactions are still there.

I send an amount to my new wallet but it immediately got transferred to somewhere else. Even so i re-created from seed it still reads watching only.

What has happened here? How do i get my wallet back?

Are you using version 1.9.7? There is a bug in 1.9.7 where if you enter an incorrect seed it creates  a wallet with a seed that is not secret. Any bitcoins sent there are stolen.

That's a bug. (It's fixed in 1.9.8. You should upgrade)

Those aren't your transactions.

That isn't your wallet.
