Europe banned? When?

they never banned it, they just warned the banks about using it.

They didn't even ban banks from using it, it was just "we advice you not to use it because it's risky".

So FUDsters and permabears interpret that as a ban. But Europe is unlike to ban bitcoin, it will cause too much revolts and besides i don't think the European Union has enough power to do that in all member states anyway.

Yeah, Germany legalised it.
France, UK, and the nordic countries have an open mind about it. That's 50%+ of the european GDP.

No way the EU can ban it in the whole union, they would have to all agree about this, and have tons of debate, meetings, etc.

Should not bother regulating it then. Let the market regulate itself.

They actually said to the banks (and no one else) don't use it until we have worked out how we are going to regulate the use of it by you" - ie the banks.

Bingo.  The few that genuinely want it to fail are the ones that missed too many buying opportunities or sold all they had low and are just bitter.
