I didn't check the wallet software for trojans, however, I recently performed an audit of Rimbit's code repository on Github. It is, quite simply, a clone of Novacoin with absolutely no new features. All they've done is tweak a few of the parameters from Novacoin and re-branded it. There is no compelling reason to use Rimbit so far as I can tell.

As someone who uses Rimbit, I don't think it will survive, whats the point in waiting for interest, when you can mine and get more out of it, I personally do not like rimbit, and I didn't post this on the forums because I know I would get hate, and I can't respond because of my broken finger.

This isn't a New Concept. The fact is that what you're doing is you putting control completely in the bag holder hands. It's the same as a half a dozen other things have it tried the past and what it does is it give the developer the opportunity to hold on to the coins and then if the project fails but has managed to get a decent price on Monday exchanges, then they can bail with the coin.
