On my exchange I can deposit cash directly at the bank with no charge. 2-3 hours later I can buy bitcoins for 0.59% fees. Can anyone explain why would anyone pay 3.99% to use bitinstant?

If you look at BitInstant.com , the minimum fee for cash bank deposits is the old higher fee. The "lowered" fee appears under the maximum fee column. I also noticed that when you type in the dollar amount to send it will charge you the original higher fee. Does everyone else see what I am seeing?

Just replied to your PM. We lowered it for a few days, but raised it back. Should lower it again within the week.

I understand you are a reputable business because as I mentioned, I have used your service in the past. I do think both the minimum and maximum fee for cash bank deposits should reflect what the actual fee is. Also, by default the "Total commission and fees" text box shows "3.99%%" and only changes when you enter an amount to send. I really think that should be fixed.
