I need to borrow 6 or 8 bit coins for 3 days. I will not pay you interest rather pay you a free credit in my new online game worth 0.5 bitcoin. This should will get you a return of 1.5 bitcoin. If you keep playing the game it will get you 4.5 bitcoin after a few weeks.

To peel or not to peel.

Exactly.
gravitate, even though you have some reputation and are a Senior Member, you shouldn't ask for such a great loan with no collateral.

Another scam, so hard to do legit lending these days.

Loan request: "I need 7 BTC because We hired an archaelogist and asked him: Is there a treasure? And he said yes!"

If he will actually send these coins to the lender then it won't be scam.

Let's see if he does that then. I don't think he will.

Don't take it this way...the point is there are really sh1tloads of scammers out there so people want to be sure they won't be victim of next one. And yes this probably will be the better way as you would have to send the coins by post to lender and wait while it gets there.

I've seen scams for 0.001, so yes... plenty of people will. You have to prove that you aren't one of them, words are worthless.

Do what you think is best. But to get a loan here you need to send collateral to lender.

Ok the collateral in the post is not convenient. I was hoping for someone to just lend me the btc. I don't need it now anyway only when the game launches and it would only be for a few hours probably. The coins to send out would cost a fortune maybe like0.75 btc. I don't need anymore bit coins in my possession now I just need to borrow them. What about if the collateral was 6btc worth of game credits? The deal is though they can not put the eggs on the tables (apart from the free platinum egg) until the bit coins returned.
Actually in game credits of 6 btc and these credits will be guaranteed to be in the game first. Would this be an option? Then the fee of 0.5 btc will be first on a table ready to win so really you will get back a guaranteed 1.5 btc just for lending 6.

You are wasting your time man as your credits are worth nothing. Only a newbie/madman would "just lend the BTC" to a stranger.
It is not a trust issue... there is no "trust" involved here.

Either ship the collateral, get some altcoins and use them as collateral or close the thread. Plain and simple.

I see your point... Maybe someone who has bought physical coins from me will see this thread though and help out Smiley Thats what I was hoping for anyway. You know once I had someone contact me through america and paid 11 BTC for 10 of my physical bitcoins. Also at that time the price of bitcoin shot from 100 usd to 1000 usd. Not once was I tempted to scam anyone it doesn't compute in my head. I have never scammed anyone and never do in my life. Actually I put him in some free 0.01's to thank him for his trust Smiley I won't need the BTC for another week or so. Therefore can wait for someone to recognise me.
In game credits are worth nothing? What about your ' credits ' in your bank account? If we are valuating things based on opinion then I would say they are worth absolutely nothing at all  Grin

Also if I am going to put some Alts up as a collateral then why don't I just exchange them on an exchange? What is the point in asking someone? you know I can put my id up/ get any information up what ever it makes no difference.
Usually I like to give away free cryptos not take or borrow them Smiley

A banked is secured.  I hate users who compare their investment opportunities with a bank... The bank is rich, are you?

Also, wait until this game comes out, open a thread for investors instead, not a loan request.

The bank has power it isn't rich and you talk about secured. Fractional reserve and all that nonsense? I don't consider bitcoin as an investment I consider it as the future or a big part of it. If my reserve of physical coins are worth millions in the future then so what it means nothing because by that stage FIAT will be with nothing anyway.

Anyway with out going into too may details I don't need investors in the game I just need a very short loan thats all. I havent asked for people to play in the game yet so its actually a very good return.

I think my in game credit idea is really a good idea. I mean I am not going to spend 40k usd on developing game to scam someone out of 6 BTC am I?

That is downright idiotic and is not helping your cause at all.

Again: you want a loan? provide collateral. You won't get money for promises.

Have you heard of herbalife? Well it's legal and people are making 1000's of pounds from it per week. Well I have done the same thing in the form of a multiplayer game. Obviously you don't get diet products but you do get charitable and good cause cryptos. I really wouldn't call it gambling because if you spend time playing it's easy to get returns like that. Actually very easy. Why do I need it? I don't want to get into that but it's for tax reasons Wink

I understand you all need physical collateral is there anyway of doing this without actually sending the goods? Hmm. What about a contract written?

Anyhow it might be cheaper to just buy them. Is there no web sites that do this? You know on my web site it has my id www.buyphysicalbitcoins.com
I am very easy to track down probably
 A bit too easy

It's my opinion I don't keep any fiat in my bank. Look what happened with Greece. I keep my money tied into property or in cryptos.
