Listen to #09 of the BitcoinUK Podcast to hear an exclusive interview with Tashoma, organiser of the first Bitcoin Festival to take place in the UK, in Shoreditch in Sept. It's taking Bitcoin to the general public: 2014 might just be the breakout year for Bitcoin!

Yeah, can't imagine this will exactly be thriving. I would like to go to some sort of bitcoin expo. I really want to spend my coins but haven't really seen anything I desperatley need yet.

It's definitely on, please visit www.BlockStock.co.uk for info. There are opening night drinks on tomorrow - details via the website.

Hopefully we'll see some of you at events taking place! And if not, do support the merchants that have agreed to accept Bitcoin.

Cheers.

At least its raised awareness of BTC adoption in the area.

As much as I like Shoreditch area not sure why it's been promoted around there... not exactly the forefront of tech AFAIK
