What's the debug log saying? As my pool is up to date on blocks, and you should be able to sync off of it.

I don't see 37.59.21.199 in your debug.log - are you sure that it is reading the right .conf file? and that you restarted your wallet properly after removing peers.dat?

It should list the IP address above in the debug.log if it is connecting
