As a fellow individual disgusted by people trying to make a profit off of Pixel pages to worthless sites no one even knows about and pretending to be innovative on top of it, I do certainly appreciate posting the source code since most people don't know how to use google.

That said, your 'project' is 3 hours old. Explain.

1st release on freshmeat ( now freecode ) was : 02 Nov 2005

So, please be tolerant, its not clean code, I wrote this 7 years ago and still need to clean many things, comments and pull requests welcome on https://github.com/neofutur/PhpMyPixelPage .

PS: I have not yet uploaded all my old projects to github Wink

I'm sorry you feel so strongly about this matter, I too felt somewhat...annoyed or peeved, would be my adjective, a few years ago when pixel websites were popular. Poping up every where I looked via Internet ads. Reviving this style of advertising and giving it a focus point, hopefully keeps the randomness down. This lets users browse what bitcoin has to offer without being directed to an irrelevant website. I in no way believe I presented myself as innovative other than the fact I did not thank the original creator, Alex Tew. I will have to update my FAQ page! As for describing the websites advertised as "worthless sites" I can only assume you are new to the bitcoin community and I Welcome you.

Touché.

Since you handled the trolling, I'll be cordial and explain the reasoning behind the failed idea:

Advertising works simple because of exposure. In your site's case, they'd have to know about your site in order to view it, and view it in order to view the advertising. It's like selling someone a fictional fuel for a fictional car that they can only buy using fictional money that they get by selling the fictional car. or something.

So, lets see a pixelpage as a sponsorship page, where my visitors can buy a space for us and to help me provide my freee tool/blog/service/whatever .
Not really pure advertising, i use pixelpages mostly this way.

At only 0.015btc for a 10x10 block and you can get up to 9000 pixels (1.5BTC).

So:
one 10x10 block is 0.015btc and
90 10x10 blocks is 0.015btc times 100?

Usually there's a discount for buying in bulk, not a penalty.
