Works for me on czeco.pool.mn. same settings as yours (except the stratum & worker, of course). I have Avast! too, no problem. Test the other pool, if it works, the issue is with the pool.

No, there are plenty of buy orders for cheap on Allcoin, think people are just mining, diff is really low so you can get plenty of coins that way... no need to buy just yet.
