Starting a new official Cryptsy thread where I will put any news and updates. Notice its moderated to keep out the trolls and to actually try and keep it useful. Rules1. Do NOT post "I want to add this coin or check out my coin etc. Its clutter" a. I check the announcement forums regularly. 2. DO NOT get mad if I delete something in this thread maybe I am just cleaning it up to keep it relevant to the topic. 3. Do post detailed feature requests I would love to hear em. 4. Do not put support issues in this thread as they belong in tickets or if you must PM myself or one of the other agents on the board they will likely help you out. 5. Do monitor for official news and events. Thanks excited about giving this a whirl and seeing if we can get some good conversation and news updates. I don't do much trading on Cryptsy but looks like I need to give it a second look.

If it wasn't for the fact they want you to provide photo ID and send them photo of yourself holding said ID - I quote "we are asking that, in addition to submitting a government issued ID, you submit an image of you holding the ID with your face visible" ... Now, this might seem like ingenious security measure (at least on some misguided level) to site admin, but the perspective of your mobile phone mug shot selfie holding your own passport finding its way to the internet should the site become compromised at any point in the future is just priceless.

why verification needed to trade with usd?
why verification needed to trade with usd?
I was also going to this question but already posted now waiting for reply from OP about this why verification is must for this I'm not the OP but it seems that most exchanges dealing with USD generally require some sort of verification. Possibly it's something to do with AML/KYC laws but it might also be due to the risk of chargebacks and fraud which doesn't exist when dealing purely with cryptos.

I was also going to this question but already posted now waiting for reply from OP about this why verification is must for this Its the Law simply put. If we did not the feds could seize funds etc etc. Much like Gox had their US accounts frozen back in the day.

Congrats on getting them opened. Pretty weak marketing though. Maybe you need to hire someone to handle that stuff for you. Shouldn't there be a big banner on the home page bragging about it, or even some tweets in the feed and blog posts about USD/XXX? Even the about page hasn't been updated. No mention of it on the Cryptostocks listing either... and this was a the whole point of that offering. Is Project Investors fully licensed in the USA now? Need BTC for FIAT now? CampBX or use my referral save money LOL
