Everyone can mine at launch. When sources releases early we have many angry solominers and interest to coin fall down.
Not every launch I have success in solo, but release windows qt at right time is fair coz we have most windows users here and they are rise to COMMUNITY later.
What coin without community? Fail.

it's OK I think

but hey people!!!! there're more graphics artist in the world, you don't have to order all the coin logos at the same designer!!!! the logos are too similar, I don't recognise by the logo if this is this or that! need an artist to make a really new logo? PM me - I'll ask some people and organise something for you!

This approach has been done on several coins but it is possible they are all from the same DEV, but no way of knowing it.

I actually prefer this much more than a straight up premine because a DEV don't get hold of a large chunk of the coin at the beginning.
But it is sad he is saying he won't be use that for bounties. So "long-term support" really mean a "salary" to keep him motivated, if it is enough to keep him motivated.

The amount of this commission is not bad considered it is only 1%, like a pool fee paid continuously as each block found. So even compared to a "standard" straight up 0.1% premine, I prefer this 1%, unless the DEV is known to be trustworthy and competent.

However, we need to see some innovations otherwise why shall any1 cares about anything.

This is misleading. Dev needs to state that there is in fact a 1% premine. Its just not generated in the first block thats all. After 7 days of mining then the 1% will exist for the dev. Same shit IMO.

No we're not.
And 0.1 ANG of every block is a lot better than a premine.
If we premine let's say 1000 ANG, we will own a big % of the total, and people will think we want to dump everything as soon as the coin hits an exchange.
This way, we will own only a few ANG coming from every block (we won't mine our own coin).

Thanks for the IRC channel! Cheesy

The logos might be similar because there's a psd coin generator at graphicriver. Maybe some other devs are using the same thing!

MisO69, premine is when someone PRE mines the coin before launch. This isn't the case. Also, it's not 1%, because there are 101000 coins, not 100000.

How much dev must take for support, promote, etc in your opinion?
I see many devs who just dropped their coin and dissapear. Maybe reward for support is fair? But if dev supports his coin. Otherwise, if dev just waiting for community make his job this is not good. I'm not defending, just curious.

I am not saying that a premine is not a good thing.  personally i feel the dev needs to have a ton of coin to use for promotions otherwise it likely will fail. But I also agree that this is just a way to avoid saying premine when in reality there is still the same amount being taken out.  Its not "pre" mined though so technically its something else.  Either way it is a little misleading and seems scandalous.  Only time will tell Smiley

It would be misleading if we didn't say anything about the foundation address!
We're not trying to hide anything, that's why we said there's no premine, so we won't own a lot of coins, but there will be 0.1 ANG of each block for us.
And these coins will be used for marketing, and some bounties, but we have to wait for that Smiley
