I think minersource is only sending out and we have to arrange delivery back to us. As they are not taking any payments from us that is the way I understand it.

I'm also in europe so this kills import from china fees for me also (which is nice!)

I'm guessing that 12 or 13 populated boards would be only a modestly sized squarish parcel, could get 2 day international shipping for a reasonable price.

Jeez though, 6KW of power needed, would push my house to the edge. sure would be a warm winter though, provided miners still pay electric bill by then.

Does MS buying maybe byting those spare chips?

Are you asking:

Is minersource willing to buy our minion chips off us ( at a cheaper price than BlackArrow sells them for ) ?

I would also like to know this.

exactly that! Cheesy

You could maybe:

Start an auction thread for your 100 * minion chips, use escrow.

We have until thrusday to join this group buy.

We will not be buying back spare chips, and chips can either be sent from BA to me to Technobit, or direct from BA to technobit. I have the list up to this point, I will submit the orders to be cashed for chips Thursday night 8PM mountain time, to get the chips shipped out Friday morning. At the time that I submit that, all orders will be final and there will be no going back.

Heres the plan. Should keep it simple, give everyone including marto plenty of time, and get things going ASAP.

First Batch of this will go off like this:

1. You must PM me your Order Number [BA/MS] Email used to place the order, units ordered, total chips , Exchange Chips for assembly cost [Yes/No] (you must do all one or another, will be too much to keep up otherwise)

2. The Above must be done by Thursday Night 8PM Mountain Time USA

3. We will get all of the submitted orders converted to chips by BA, and shipped to us first thing Friday morning. Chips will arrive to us Monday/Tuesday, be counted for accuracy, and reshipped to marto via DHL Express.

4. By Wednesday, you will need to have paid for your assembly, either by electing to use chips, or by paying the assembly value of 164EUR (Includes our 20% discount) in BTC to an address, so that we can pay marto as a group for the order.

5. When your miners are assembled, you will have the option of having it shipped from us here in the US, or shipped direct from marto at your cost either way. From marto will be much cheaper for EU, from us will be cheaper for US.

Please keep the PMs to me to just the requested information, I dont want to miss any ones order. If you have any questions, please ask it here.

We will be offering discounted PSUs and Coolers as we get a little bit closer.

I already requested 200 sent to him. If it faster to be sent to you than me, so be it. I requested this earlier on in another thread, and went to the bank and got the $15k needed to fund this. Pleas get me out first thing Matt. $ is here and waiting.

BTW. I need you to call me as I plan to run this off your PSU's. Dells be a rocking this farm so far, I see no reason to change.

Do you feel 2 will handle 3 boards? I do, as I have seen them pull 8's and 9's... your input is needed.

The question is how much could these completed (or just populated board) miners be sold for, in say six weeks?

I'm gonna say $300 a piece, without coolers or PSU. Does this seem about right?

Bobsag, what will be done with any leftover chips?  Say I have 100 chips, 48 go on boards and 48 pay for it, that leaves 4 chips.  I assume we can pay to have those mounted but if we don't will they get shipped back or maybe used to offset some other cost...

Also, will you be able to get some of Marto's TP-link controllers in stock to go with these?

Seems like it would make sense to set-up default 'packages' for each BA product.  For Example, Each X3 can be exchanged for 12 boards shipped with 2 TP-links.  Choose that default option or send bare chips and pay all other costs separately...  just my 2 satoshis.

Yes, probably around that ballpark figure.

Building up and configuring full tested plug-n-play miners with instructions may yield +ve ROI.

Gonna be watching this thread, in case I can magically afford it in the next two days. Gonna depend on what my pool does to be able to fund it, but turning two X1 into 1.2TH would be pretty cool. Should be able to scrounge up some cheap waterblocks and tie into a big watercooling loop too! Exciting!

If they're looking at pulling no more than 400W per board, you could get away with two boards per PSU but three per two PSU load-balanced would be both safer and more efficient (as each supply would be operating closer to its peak point). Hate to be a shameless plug but we (the guys that make the Dell PSU boards minersource sells) should be started moving DPS-2000BB boards in about three weeks, which can source about 2500W reliably but require 200-240VAC input. There's a preorder group buy https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=637595.0 in case anyone's interested.

Cool, quiet and up to 1TH pod miner, on sale now!

We will probably end up trying a watercooled system using PC parts due to the socket size... should at least look cool!

Are there are quad head water coolers out there? That might be interesting.

Would go with 4 individual blocks, linked 2x2 is seriers to 2x 240 Rads.

I know its expensive and highly impractical.. dont care.
Plus you can pay in BTC

Didn't mean to copy, must've overlooked that one. My setup would be a bit different anyway; I've got a 15x25" car radiator refitted to take 1/2" hose barbs and a pair of 2300CFM 12V fans that should be good for clearing at least 6KW, should be able to stick it right in a window and blow heat outside. The whole radiator/fan/fittings setup cost about $120. In the unlikely event that I'm able to get in on this deal.
