i now 2 things is 30 long and the word forum is in it

In my opinion bruteforcing 30 chars even if you know that "forum" word was in it will take .... years Smiley

i now its have no up letters and special characters

That will make bruteforcing quite faster - now you need only few years instead of many years Smiley

I am sorry my friend but recovering this 30 chars might be too hard Sad

I have about 150 GPUs that can crack that password for you if you pay for the electricity to run them?
Here are my rates

12 or ^ characters = 5000 years electrical cost + 10% finders fee
11 characters = 60  years electrical cost + 10% finders fee
10 characters = 8 months electrical cost + 10% finders fee
 9 or v characters = 3 days electrical cost + 10% finders fee

bram_vnl, Even in the best case scenario (the password is comprised entirely of lowercase text) there are 2630 combinations. If you had the capability to run 1 billion combinations per second it would take ~89 septillion (1024) years to run every combination. Our sun will supernova long before you discover a 30 character password by way of brute forcing. Even knowing the word "forum" is in there won't help you to brute force it before our sun dies.

Sorry dude, unless you can remember your password you may as well accept defeat.

You forget the exponential growth of computational power.  So the time it will take to solve with halve every 18 months.  So he may solve it before our sun supernova's but not until after our sun becomes a reg giant and swallows the earth.

But hey those bitcoin will be worth a fortune by then right?  It will totally be worth it!!!

Anderi, how are you using GPU's?  I thought hashcat doesn't support Bitcoin yet.

I think it takes most home computers a full 0.1 seconds to check just one password for correctness, so if the password has 9 characters long then it will take years to complete

This could really be the best way to long hold a coin.  Think of it as now being in a crypto "cd".  You can't touch it but you know it is safe.  So get started brute forcing that password and when it is done you will be rich.
