I did an interview with Michael Moriarty in May.
In that interview, I claimed he was a good guy on the up and up....
Now I'm not so sure.

PLEASE SHARE THIS PAGE TO EVERYONE IN THE BITCOIN COMMUNITY

http://antilyze.com

I have evidence that clearly shows that Michael Moriarty has decided to keep a customers $80,000 deposited at bitlaunder.com because he felt that the coins were "stolen or hacked from elsewhere"  Why that gives him permission to keep $80,000 I will never know.

In back and forth discussions, Michael admitted this and we set up a deal for him to return the 125 bitcoins but instead, Michael never sent the bitcoins, and instead posted today in this very forum that he is now giving away bitcoins.

I am giving Michael 24 hours to return the funds he has already admitted he has.  If he does not I will expose the rest of what I know, and all evidence of this crime-to-be will be posted at http://antilyze.com

TICK-TOCK-TICK-TOCK-DOC-OCK

Do you know Dr. Michael Moriarty with a PhD from Stanford?  Please use the contact me or chat link on the page.  If he does not pay back the money he kept, I will indeed need your help in finding him.  He is the "Owner" of the "Bitcoin Network of Sites" according to his Linkedin.  He has 8 Full-time Employees and 50 sites including bitlaunder, bitforum.org, bitscams.org (funny), bitplastic, coinchimp, hotbitcoins, bitarmored.com, bitlisting.com, bitsecurity.com, bitfiverr.com, paidbitcoin.com, bitsweeps.com, bitbing.com, bitwebhosting.com, bitspeculate.com and more.  If he indeed is going to be keeping money that is not his, he must be brought down.  Any help on his identity from the hacker community will be greatly appreciated.

He thinks he's above us.  He thinks he can get away with anything.  I think there is strength in numbers, so please check out the page and also send an email to Michael telling him that we don't need his kind in the bitcoin community.  moriarty.bitcoin@gmail.com

If Michael returns the money he is holding, I will delete my pages and life will go on....   Michael: DO what is right, not what pads your "50,000 bitcoins"

I will check back on this topic. It's always hard to know the truth in a story when you only hear one side. That guy Definitely doesn't sound like the right person to be running a BTC mixer service.   Why would the "friend" with 120 BTC from the NXT sale trust some shady mixing service instead of just moving his NXT/BTC around on an exchange and pulling it out? I feel like there's more to this story, but that's why I will follow along.

Also, you need to get your photos either linked correctly, or in the right location on your server. Showing 0 out of 3 for me.  Sad

EDIT: Checked out the BitPlastic site. That's just one thing that sounds 100% too good to be true as laid out on that site, in my opinion. Definitely smells fishy.

Sorry, what photos are you talking about?

You can see 2 of them here; one on the left and one towards the middle-bottom. There was also some sort of missing image/file on the right side that I could not get in this pic.

The big question I'm left wondering is, whose bitcoins are they?  Like who did he steal the bitcoins from and why aren't they complaining anywhere?  If this is true and he's not explaining himself then it's pretty simple - he's a fraud.

Wow this is quite a remarkable story if true. Who is morosely to get on his high horse and say that rickyjames bitcoins are suspicious and stolen?  As a business if you want to be ethical you just keep your mouth shut and do your job which is to launder the coins and give them back to the sender. He's acting like god, deciding that it's suspicious so he'll confiscate the coins. I'm going to go find this page where he's giving out free bitcoins, the timing is just way too suspicious which makes me think you're telling the truth. Why aren't more people aware and upset at this nonsense?

Bitcoin mixers always seem a bit dodgy to be honest since your entrusting coins to a third party. I'm surprised he hasn't come and answered these questions himself though, perhaps if you're keen to pursue offer someone a bounty for his dox which you can then actually verify with Stanford... I mean moriarty is from Sherlock Holmes, rather than his real name (pretty certain its his pseudonym).

I don't have any money....  and he didn't steal it from me.  I just can't believe that he stole 80k and is still running his sites.

Need the community to help I guess.

Yeah, shit like this does Really piss me off. More people need to be concerned with this, more people need to share it; get the word out. I give you (campycoin) props for really trying to help out rickyjames and get that Fuckhead to give him back his money, even though your only prior involvement with it was writing an article about the Fuckhead. I can tell you are really trying to help and do the right thing.

As mentioned, getting a black hat to fully doxx his ass would be a sweet start. Especially- home address information, then if I was rickyjames I would stop by and pay him a visit. However, as campycoin already mentioned- the whole PhD and relation to Stanford is most likely 100% bullshit. I'm almost sure that MM didn't have plans since the beginning of robbing somebody like that, so I'm almost positive he has left himself exposed somewhere along the way- with a few of his sites maybe.

Good luck to all, I will be following and will try to help if I can,

I really, really appreciate it. Seriously... it means a bunch.  I've made no money this week because I've been dealing with this low life... And I won't stop.  If I can't get RickyJames money back, well today I hit every single meetup connection and linkedin connection that moriarty has.  Someone knows who this little scammy bitch is.  Appreciate the help and kind words.  I think he left himself open a few places... I just need those underground guys to help or a PI that maybe would work on some sort of contingency...  who knows.

Have you posted this on Reddit?

No, I should but get this....

So last night I went to all Michael's posts.... most the time he is making bids on domains and or plugging one of his sites.....

So I follow him and basically say to check http://antilyze and that Moriarty is a scammer and stole 80k and I have proof, don't trust him...

Well, so far I've had 5 PM's that they ARE DELETING MY POSTS!!!   Why would they do that?

This fucking sucks man.  He is just gonna keep getting away with it.  He'll most likely win a few more domains because the bidding will go .1, .2, .3,.4 Then Michael comes along an dbids .8 because ITS NOT HIS FUCKING BTC....   and they are gonna let him win?

Fuck this place.

They are probably on the Dr. Payroll

This sucks

Yeah.... that's Bullshit. I have read many posts and other items talking about how the mods and owner(s?) of this forum are scammers, or don't care to step in and stop somebody getting scammed when they know it's happening, etc. He will probably pay to buy some ads on this forum now, not surprisingly he will probably be able to outbid everyone. I will try to get this on Reddit today, I think that will get some people motivated, and Somebody from there could probably full doxx his ass.

More Proof http://antilyze.com

$80,000 theft proof (see OP of RickyJames) here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=713699.msg8180116#msg8180116
