This is the reason that there is a trust rating system in place here. I wouldn't hesitate to do a trade with him, or anyone else without escrow with a trust rating like his.

I just sold a TV on here this last weekend and there was no escrow used. In fact, the guy never even mentioned it, he just sent me the coins, no questions asked!
