If that is your opinion (which I agree with partly) it sounds like you will never sell.

If its that widely adopted the price will be high.. but will you sell at $1000/BTC or $10,000/BTC
and if it is on the way to 10k why not wait to 20k or 100k :p

Always: Fiat -> BTC

Never: Fiat <- BTC

This is my plan of action.

the price hits $10,000

I have made that commitment to myself and intend to honour it (or go down firing from all cylinders)

I'm with you OP. never selling.  only buying stuff with BTC and then topping off my stash.
although I still have some fiat savings too...I'm not "all in".

Am for sure taking the long term view with Bitcoin and holding on to it for a while. Seems that if/when the price hits $750 that will be a new stage of the market to really keep an eye on.

Until I sse the price will fall and I can rebuy back for less. Or I really really need money for something.

But take bitcoin money to put in other investings only after I get at least $50k or bitcoin price reaches 5k or I see bitcoin is dying with no doubt

I won't be selling any. I am a firm believer in the long term propects of bitcoin. I will keep accumulating and holding until it is wide spread enough to use for pretty much everything.

I use my BTC like a volatile savings account. I dont really ever dip into it, but periodically keep adding more. I try to keep my dollar cost average as low as possible obviously. I dont think i have sold any since december 2013.

I think the tipping point for payment availability will come soon after Silicon Valley and Seattle retailers start accepting BTC for payment. The tech industry needs to lead the acceptance among retailers.

Silicon valley is already pretty involved in BTC businesses. A lot of the VC money is going to and from there

I wouldn't really say that, maybe we have some indiviual cases and enterprenuers but silicon valey is not yet conquered by bitcoin. I'd say that over there, people are just starting to get familiar with it.

I have all my savings in BTC, which isn't really a lot. I always thought I wouldn't exchange them for fiat until the amount would make a difference to the quality of my life, but really when that day comes, I'll no longer need to because everyone will be accepting them.

If this never happens, well I didn't lose much. I would have just spent the money on crap anyway.
