the issue is 2700usd for 2 th at 2000 watts. plus shipping.

I buy 5x s-3's for 3.25 btc  that is 2.2th

  3.25 btc is  1950 usd

1950 usd for the miners

350 usd for 2 evga 1300 psu's

2300 usd  add on 50 bucks for cables and a gigabyte switch

   One A1                                                  vs      Five s-3's

I am at      2700 usd  + pay to ship          vs 2350 usd +  free shipping

this hashes at 2.0th                                    vs 2.2th

this spends    2000 watts                            vs  1700 watts

Simply does not compete with the s-3

1. Our 2T is full unit . will PSU. buyer only can connect and begin mining.
S3 without power supply.
2. We have update price . Wholeseller 2280USD/PC. big quantity can cotact us for discuss.

what sort of power supply is used? for the power draw it would hopefully be 80+ GOLD or better.

even the wholesale price before shipping is no better than bitmain, since it does not include shipping, and requires an extra 300W (~$30/month) power draw.  <$2200 shipped and you might have a sale.

even with your unit being easy to setup, so are the antminers, which are a breeze using the S3

I think you are antminer fans.
2200$ no problem if you take 100pcs more.
We are only unit 2T. i think more convinient than you use 5pcs Antminer and go to purchase PSU. we are in different strategy with antminer.  So antminer have antminer buyer. we have other buyer. No problem.

I think you are greedy, illogical, money, money, money fans...

ignore competitors, there must be some fools out there willing to pay more for dusty rigs than they are worth or will EVER earn...

Yes, i'm convinced you are greedy, illogical, money, money, money 'strategy' fans...

WOW!! u have 2Th miners, will you accept 3500USD for a dusty sample??

OF COURSE YOU WILL, SHORT-SIGHTED & NARROW-MINDED GREED is the breakfast of chumpions Wink

You are not right to Judge this. you are not really buyer. Different solution different cost. I don't think we need spend our time on this kindly of none diathesis guy

And you'll be releasing the full source code including cgminer source and your driver driver?

Sorry , don't understand your question

Your miner is using cgminer software right? cgminer is licensed under GPL v3.

If your selling these miners with cgminer (GPLv3) on them you must make the source code available for download - including your modifications - or you're in breach of that license.

And I  know that probably deeply concerns you - as much as it has concerned any of the other Bitmine A1 based manufacturers...

I tend to think that the source code is in Innosilicon's hands, and that it's never got out in the wild and this miner appears does nothing to change that as it's little more than the reference design - pushed to a ridiculous level of OC in a box with more power and more fans.

You know what though: I'll buy one (or more) if you do post the complete source code (including your modifications if any) and driver for cgminer  Otherwise no thanks.

I have bought a 2TH miner from this guys. I was massively unimpressed with the hardware, which was damaged in transit, underspecced, and used much more power than originally stated.

So yes, they exist. They do actually send hardware out.  Check my profile history for photos of what arrived.

Here is what I've got from user - xrobau

Quote
They sent me a 6-avalon3 box, with 2 PSUs. They forgot the Pi, but promised to send it again, or, give me a refund of it.  6 Avalon3's, however, is 1.8TH, not 2TH.

They seem honest, if a bit unsure about what they're doing.

Their new box looks crazy though. I don't know how they're planning on having people buy it, with fans all over it like that.

He wants the modifications you made to cgminer, in source code form.  It's legally required.

Why would someone want to buy these over Antminers S3? The consumption on these is insane. 2Ths you are looking at well over 2.2 2.4Kw. Needs two PSUs to power it. You can get 1.8Ths @ 1.4Kw For a little over  $1k USD. Sure you get rack mount ability with these. but you are talking about what looks like an 8U machine taking up ALOT of space for only 2Ths at current difficulty. You could easily use a shelf to house the antminers S3s and get more hash power. OR go with a spondoolies SP30/31 (when they start shipping) Again another economical and efficient choise

Segree would need to give some compelling reason as to why these are better. Considering I own an AMT 1Ths version of these designs (as they are made by the same people obviously), the performance will be pretty much the same or on par. And A1 chips have proven to be very power hungry. There is no technical advantage to having these aside from form factor. And the form factor is a minor thing in all this if it does not match up hash power.

If the price will be as low as 1300-1400 USD - this will be a reason I think. )

Still not worth it at that price. You lose out on the power consumption as well. Not only that but mining density. Would you rather have this massive 8U unit at 2Ths or 4 Antminers running at 1800Ghs ...add a 5th with its own small PSU and you now have a whole shelf that would otherwise by used up by this thing. And for their previous comment. Yes people here are fans of Antminers, because they make them well and are priced just right. Seeing as some already have an AMT version of the 1Ths of this thing one can already be sure the quality will be subpar. You can try to deny it but you are using the EXACT SAME Poor UI, unique IP (which I can see taped and written on the unit pictured), a likley unguessable SSH password, loud fans that require earplugs to get near the miner. Not to mention the random pieces of metal that get shipped with these things. I got some scrap metal with my box...the unit itself was VERY well packed. BUT came with scrap metal. Someone else reported a rusted piece of metal.

Fyi my AMT review thread has a link to how loud these things will likley be. The 1Ths unit compared to an S2. And the video does not do the noise justice.

Your first model claimed 2th/s and failed to comply according to buyer tests.
Now you mention this one is 2 th/s you must sent to a reputable member to test it
then you will be able to sell more.
2700+shipping as mentioned previously its so hard to roi when with 1500 more you can purchase
a Spondoolies that has 3 times the advertised hash with the well known SP10 quality product.
We all want to make a Mercedes but only few make to build it...
As buyers we need high quality and low prices
Also important to all chinese manufacturers that read this post
If you want to make money with bitcoin in long term, pass the mining to the masses
otherwise you mine with your own equipment and finally fuck bitcoin.
A good example is LKETC very good product but expensive, they have only sold 5 miners since first of June...
They keep taking price down but not donw enought...
so stock remains the same .....

ALSO WOULD NOT MIND TO TAKE A WHITE SHEET OR RED TABLECLOTH PUT YOUR MINER ON IT
AND MAKE SOME HIGH QUALITY PHOTOS ALONG WITH THE HASH RATE WITH UPTIME MORE THAN A WEEK.

RENT A PROFECIONAL ITS INTERNATIONAL MARKET YOU HIT

They agreed to send me a unit for $2600 if I make a review for the forum. But when I asked if they would use escrow they quickly denied.

just a warning. these guys are associated with Josh Zipkin - a VERY known and confirmed scam artist from AMT miners. If you want to risk your money, by all means, but you cannot say you were not warned. ill be watching this thread.

Additionally Joshua Zipkin has been also known to try to buy and bribe reviews in the same manner. And even had a recent auction on similar miners go south on him when he got called out. People asked escrow and he had no interest. Just demonstrates the need for the community to remain vigilant for these kinds of sales. Hopefully the Chinese vendor selling these will understand the price of doing business with the famed "loumay" aka Joshua Zipkin
