This would be nice and also an busy/away button.
Again, why? There is no chat or any other thing that would require an away or busy status.
We need a like/dislike button or just a hide button for topics that are not appealling.
No, dont make this reddit. If you like reddit so much, well there is reddit. I like boards. I am here because I like boards. I am not on reddit because I dont like "like this", "downvoted" bullshit. If you dont like a topic, just ignore it. Either you are alone with your opinion or it will vanish anyway. Noone (IMHO) cares if you do not like a certain topic, let those that like it and care about it discuss it.
You can ignore people so their topics will be greyed out. The most efficient way for me personally to see less BS is to watch boards and unwatch topics I dont want to read. That way I know about every new post in the sections I care about and can easily hide those I dont care about.

Just imagine the spam if such a thing would get implemented. The current way, by generating a QR code is working great. The QR code is generate, then the person who wants to requests the payment can send it by any means of his choosing, from email to printing it on a business card.
