I think they just need to confirm your identity before you can withdraw the money.
Just send them a copy of the ID-papers they require. You could possibly scan it and send it to them.
Shouldn't be an issue once your account is verified.

why are they not blocked IMMEDIATELY BEFORE I turned and entrusted them to my bitcoin
Because you done something suspicious. did you login to your account from TOR or a proxy? Just send them your power bill + scan of driving license. If your under 18 ask your parents if you can use theirs. He's Russian and his passport is in Cyrillic.

and i MUST go to notary SPEND my TIME and MONEY
how much my time? 50 $ hour
That's a common misconception. You just need to have a level 1 Verified Status: https://support.mtgox.com/entries/20920158-aml-policiesYou should contact mtGox and take it from there. I don't think there's any need for going to the notary. Try just scanning your passport and an utility bill and send it to them.

That matters? My driving license isn't in English and Mt Gox accepted it. I'm surprised they require extra steps for Russian ID's. From MT Gox: The name on this document(s) must be in latin characters, if they are not we require a notarized english translation to be mailed to us.

Mtgox suddenly blocked account. I have along not walked on the account. I sold bitcoin for > $ 500. Decided to withdraw, and they tell me that you need to confirm your account. And now they have for free> $ 500 bucks hung.
why are they not blocked before I began to exchange bitcoin. In my opinion mtgox is not a stock exchange can trust. Given the break-ins leads database users and blocking with non-zero balance. Fucking.
Scary.
Yea they did this with me too. They will happily accept deposits but and not let you know about needing to verify identity, but when you try to remove money from your account they sure let you know. I verified my identity and won't use them anymore.

Introducing constraints to the economy only serves to limit what can be economical.

They did the same to me. Account works fine, as soon as I made a deposit it got locked. The deposit was only $100 and I've only used mtgox for a total of a few hundred dollars this month. So it's not like I was setting off any flags. From a US acc, no proxies or anything shady.
It's obvious at this point they just use this as additional profit, stealing money from the BTC community.

What do you expect from a hosting company turned into a financial company? Miracles? This is getting ridiculous. Having myself 3 Paypal accounts, 2 personal and 1 Business account, all of them fully verified, I can guarantee that not even Paypal is this picky about documentation sent to them. And yes, paypal still sucks

i just checked my account history as well to make sure I wasn't forgetting about anything. There was just 20-30 BTC withdraws every week or two. I hadn't surpassed their daily limits for unverified accounts and it's already 21 days into the month. I was no where close to monthly limits. Total I ever put through gox was a few thousand over 4 months. I'm sure they will say I triggered some hidden flag they can't disclose due to AML crap, or point to some reference in their mile long EULA that says this is ok. But forget these guys, nothing but thieves in my opinion.
I ignored all the warnings about gox on these forums. I thought all the people that were getting locked were selling from silkroad, trying to move big amounts of money, or something otherwise shady. But really it's only a matter of time for every one. Even the guys that withdrawal three digits a month.
About paypal, every dime that goes through gox ends up in my paypal account, guess which one got locked first.

What they are likely doing is requiring that all people verify their identity. They are just doing it in stages.

They claim my coins were tainted from the linode hack. I'm sure some small % was tainted just like yours and anyone else that accepted payments in the last few weeks. I posted more about it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=73385.0

This is why you better cash out and get out of mtgox. Not only do they require your ID, but they don't even have SEPA working.

ToS means nothing they can write whatever they want there. It would be laughed at in court. This guy got his acc locked from tainted coins anyway I think since the time line of locked/unlocked is the same as my case. If that's true your reply is even more useless.
