Where do most of the newbies on this forum stand politically and/or in this U.S. election?  If I had to wager a guess--I would imagine most are Ron Paul supporters who believe in Liberty and the Constitution? 

The old vanguard is dilapidated and dying.  There is a growing movement in this country--a libertarian fervor that is ripening as we speak (i.e. write).

Nope. Worth a shot though. I am afraid that destitution will come and be followed by violence before the grand American expirement takes a new direction.

Really? You mean to tell me this is not an American forum?  

Did you notice that when I phrased the question I was referring to newbies who are Americans?  I did not state "election" but "U.S. election."  The question was for people who are in the United States.

Anyone, however, is free to express their political views.

I'm a socialist and not american ... but I pick obama, the republic candidates are LOLworthy so far

the problem I have with Ron Paul is that beyond the outward libertarian stance he takes, there is some conservative ideology buried beneath ...

I don't fall in line perfectly with any party, but I vote Democrat usually. Clinton and Obama. First choice was solid, not sure about the latter. Republicans lost me with Bush, then Gore/Palin.

Libertarianism has its pros, but has its cons as well. They all do though.
