Any idea what is going on here:

A user connects with a new payout address to the eligius pool - and bursts up to a fairly irratic 100 GH/s for a day with a high duplicate/invalid/stale ratio.

Surely this is not an individual? Is it a proxy pool that jumps around?

[obviuosly I'd rather post this is Mining -> pools forum, but am restricted]

Could be GPUMax? Eligius is one of their supported pools, but I've never made a purchase so I don't know if it gets up to 100GH/s.

Yeah, because there are plenty of 50 GH/s rigs around?

I think he means the Butterfly Labs Rig Box, which I don't think actually exists yet, although I could be wrong.

Ah, OK, that would make more sense.

I guess someone could be testing something. That was part of why I was asking, as it just seemed odd to suddenly jump from nothing to such a high value (25% of the total of the pool).

Not familiar with GPUMax to know how that works and how much they have available.
