Announcing SharedSend - Secure Bitcoin Anonymizing Service

*Also known as a Bitcoin Mixer or Bitcoin Tumbler.

https://sharedsend.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/logofin1.1.png

Website: https://sharedsend.net

Twitter feed for updates: https://twitter.com/SharedSend
Email: admin@sharedsend.net

After months of development and testing we are now open to the public with a fully functional bitcoin anonymizing service.

The bitcoin network might be anonymous in terms of single-handedly revealing your ip address, but the transaction history is recorded in the block chain and is publically available, which makes your anonymity very vulnerable.
Using Bitcoin as privately and anonymously as possible is a strong desire amongst many in the community, so we have developed a solution for this using a very complex laundering algorithm: SharedSend cleans your Bitcoin, removing all traces of previous ownership and transactions, thus completely ‘washing’ them to obscure their origins.

SharedSend will accept your payment, deduct a small commission (random 1-2% + random 0,005-0,01 BTC), and then forward the balance on to one or more Bitcoin addresses you designate.
The balance will be forwarded in a random number of transactions with random amounts in random time delays from completely different addresses ->sending patterns are completely random and untraceable.
The fee is randomized between 1% and 2% for each deposit to further obscure linking bitcoin going in and out.
The service is run on a dedicated server manually configured for this very purpose, Bitcoin daemon is run on another machine, and all suspicious activity is monitored and the website shuts down automatically if it even senses it is under attack.
It is manually monitored and checked on a daily basis.

Key features:

-No Logs! Everything is deleted after bitcoins are sent out.
-Anonymous registration: We do not need your name or email address.
-Initial reserve of 100 clean BTC laundered through two different exchanges -> no waiting time besides the usual (6 to 24 hours).
-All traffic is encrypted with strong SSL.
     -Strong fail-proof laundering algorithm.
     -Recommended minimum amount: 0.1 BTC.
-The option to delay the transaction until enough NEW bitcoin have been added to the mix (in case you make more than one transactions in the same day) ->improves privacy.

If you like our service, you can help out just by liking, tweeting, recommending or just simply tell someone about it. The more users we have, the better the service. If you would like to help support the development of SharedSend, you can donate using the address below: (only Bitcoins)

The address one is supposed to send to is always the donation address! Don't use this site!

OK, I will bite, play along and assume for the duration of this post that you are not an outright scam.  OK?

bitmixer:  0.5% fee,  you:  1% to 2%
bitmixer:  returns the washed coins within a few confirmations, you:  laundering can take 6 to 24 hours to complete
bitmixer:  trusted, you:  not so much
bitmixer:  wrote their own web site, you:  took their web site design
bitmixer:  proper SSL certificate, you:  certificate warning can't even load on Chrome
bitmixer:  maximum of 2,000 BTC, you: maximum of 100 BTC

There is more but that should to it.

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

...

bitmixer.io, yes, the whole mixing process takes maybe an hour or so.  I am happy with bitmixer.io, also with sharedcoin.com (blockchain.info's service).

Note, that bitmixer.io is NOT the same as apparent scam site bitmixer.info (or similar).

Thank you all for your feedback! Please let us say that we welcome any feedback, positive or negative, we know this is the first step when a service is started within the bitcoin community. We are active members from the beginning (we can not disclose our identities due to the nature of our service) and we know that a lot of scammers are building sites and services similar to ours but we strongly urge the community to refrain from making strong accusations about our service until a reasonable amount of users begin using our service.
Please don't forget that this is the starting phase of our site so a few problems will eventually appear but we welcome any feedback and idea to make our service the best it can be.

We will try to answer every question and accusation:

 - Donation address: Bitcoins which are donated to this address will be added to the mix (we didn't think this would be a problem or a warning) and the address in which users send bitcoin to be cleaned is the same for other users. This address is changed at random intervals but it just happened to be the same as the donation address.

 - The 1-2% fee: We know that other services similar to ours are practicing lower fees but we have invested a great deal of work and money into this project and we hope we can recover this investment in the following month or two. The fee will be lowered to 0.5%-1% as soon as possible.

 - Long waiting time: We can not promise to send the BTC in under 6 hours because the process is validated manually 2-3 times in 24 hours and some users request the delay option which means the required BTC will be sent only when enough new bitcoins have been added to the mix. We would like to note that some bitcoins are added as freshly mined (about 2-3 a day) and we plan to (when we start making larger profits) add a lot of miners which add at least 10 very clean BTC/day (this will be optional with a larger fee). We are also working on finding miners from which we can buy btc on a regular basis with a small fee given to the miners. The cleaning process will be faster by the day, hopefully we will guarantee a maximum of 3 hours in the following 2 months.

 - Trust: We have no possible way of making the community trust us until we have a large user-base.

 - SSL: Our SLL certificate has been installed correctly and it has been tested on all browsers including Chrome, it should work without problems. Please give more details about your error.

 - Maximum deposit: We do not want to make any accusations about other services which claim to have a maximum cap of 2000 BTC but from our experience, that service will eventually run with the BTC when a significant amount has been added to the mix. 2000 BTC means about 1mil$ which we can say with almost absolute certainty that no service can put this much BTC as initial reserve (this should be very clear to everyone, please don't trust the service just because a large number of users have used it without problems, this can be an elaborate scheme to steal as much btc as possible). The fact is users can deposit sums greater than 100btc (even 200-300) but this could take too long to clean so we encourage users to send no more than 100 to be 100% sure that the cleaning process won't take more than 24 hours and the BTC will be as clean as possible. The limit is 100 because this is the amount we could invest as an initial reserve of clean bitcoins so users which deposit amounts lower than 100 will be guaranteed to receive clean bitcoins in a reasonable time.

- Site template: Our template and design is completely different form bitmixer and other similar services. We assure you that our site has been built from the ground up without using any elements from other site. You may see similarities only because our team has researched the competition to see what users are used to find on this kind of services.

- Laundry: Some users are not happy with us using words like laundry or launder. If the community request this, we will change this words to 'clean' or 'process'.

Thank you for your feedback! And please use our email address if you want a quick response: admin@sharedsend.net

Well, using one address only for the entire site looks like a cheap scam to me.

OK, you are using different addresses now and I have seen one laundering actually executed so we can strike "cheap" and for now "scam" too. Wink

As for using the same address for different users, I urge you to think about this some more.
You can't resolve disputes about the same amount of bitcoins then and this is an invitation for malicious behaviour.

Well your response for the most part was measured and reasonable.  So, in my opinion, you might possibly not be a scam, maybe.  Best I can do for now.

Anon businesses are a tricky thing for sure.

Coiner.de  Thank you for your observations!

Using the same address for different users will not prevent us from resolving disputes (even with same amounts). It is very clear to us which address the bitcoins came from and to which address or addresses the clean bitcoin will be sent, it makes no difference if the address is the same (but it does improve privacy in our algorithm). Besides this, we recommend using a custom ID to indentify the transaction in case of troubleshooting (required before deposit). Also, the address is changed at random intervals (in most cases, before the next deposit).

BurtW  It sure is, but we are quite certain about our service being very good at what it's supposed to do and we hope users will use it without problems and delays. We expect some problems to appear eventually but we will do our best to minimize them. We are very passionate about SharedSend and Bitcoin in general, we can only dream(for now) to develop a bullet-proof service which everyone can use reliably without delays and large fees.
We are researching the possibility to make our service very public (register as a company) by the end of the year with servers placed in specific countries and a algorithm which will require next to 0 troubleshooting.
It's going to be a long and bumpy road but we are committed and we welcome any feedback as we ride it.

We are researching the possibility to make our service very public (register as a company) by the end of the year -snip-

Just out of curiosity, but if you're a registered company (and assuming you don't give them fake details for registration) won't it make it easy for the government of whatever country your operating out of to come after you should they want more details on the transactions that are occurring on your site? Not to be rude, but am I right in assuming that like every other VPN and mixing service I've seen you cannot actually prove that you don't keep logs, only state it as so and have your customers believe it?

Well put. The server won't be in the US or any other country which works with the US government or any other foreign government. Hopefully this will be enough to keep the sharks away, if not, we will try to force ourselves to refrain from the 'temptation' to keep logs. There is no reason (as far as we know) to keep the logs longer than necessary. The worst case would be the 'troops' finding us and our servers and forcing us to keep future logs, this would be an extraordinary case very unlikely to happen but if it does, we will stop any activity and inform the community as soon as possible.

We have processed around 20 transactions so far but it seems users are reluctant to leave a review. We can't ask them to post a review because our service does not require any identification besides a custom ID, we were planning to make a page on our site dedicated to reviews and questions but experienced users know we can edit them and leave only positive reviews or make them ourselves.
If someone is interested in testing our service/algorithm, please state this before making the transaction and we will only charge a 0.5-1% fee, leave a private message with the custom ID which will be used with the transaction.
If users who have used our service see this thread please leave a comment so our user-base can grow which will make our service better and faster.

Thank you!

We apologize for the lag in the past hours, someone is doing(trying) a DDOS attack on us, most likely by a competitor.

Fee is now 1% and the daily maximum limit has been increased to 300BTC.

*Don't forget to use the same custom ID if you plan to make more than one transaction in the same day.

I have a hard time with the part in bold.  Perhaps "one of the leading" might be more accurate?

Or, are you really claiming that you process more per day than bitmixer?  How do you know how many BTC the other services process?  How can we know how many you process?  Is it really 50/day?  How many does bitmixer do per day?  How do you know that?  I know that on some days they do over 500 BTC based on the amount I personally run through them.
