Private Key Challenege - Winner takes 99% or 0.025 btc which ever is bigger

The game is to guess the most and least significant bytes of a private key in hex. On https://brainwallet.github.io/ this is labeled as "Secret Exponent". I have picked a private key that limits the numbers in the range (0-9) decimal which is (0x00 - 0x09) hex

Each guess is made by sending 0.001 + 0.000000## BTC

Example private key: 5811c8addb66aeebc724cb0fdda6a58dae5863134ce0f28513143085921a7e46

So you would send 0.00100056 btc

5 hex = 5 decimal
6 hex = 6 decimal

Winner takes 99% of the balance.

Any guess made after the winning guess (based on the block it was added to the blockchain) will be refunded minus any tx fees.

Winner will get funds sent to their address they sent from. Also once the address has been emptied I will post the private key.

Minimum payout regardless of address balance will be 0.025 btc.

How do people know you won't just keep the money? Have you successfully run a contest here before where the winner got paid out?

Why not let escrow control the wallet and make payouts, take out a percentage for yourself and escrow and everyone wins.

There are trusted escrows on this board who have handled transactions in the thousands of dollars. Check out some of them and read their trust reviews. While yes there is a chance they may run off with the money it is highly unlikely since they usually make money here and would not ruin their reputation/rating over a few hundred or even a thousand.

I see your point. I will set the minimum payout at 0.025 btc regardless of the balance at the address.
