You should be more specific. 5k in BTC? USD? PayPal? Do you plan to use escrow?

If you only do business that way, why come to a Bitcoin Forum?

If you're willing, I know someone who may have purchased one of these units. I'll send him here, but I know he will only be interested in BTC. You should convert from fiat.

If you insist on eBay / PayPal then you should gladly add 15 to 20 % on top of the price to cover the buyer fees for them.

You could order one here, http://www.gawminers.com/products/shipped-pre-order-september-6-th-s-spondoolies-tech-sp30-yukon-batch-1/. They accept credit cards. You are better off using a credit card if you ever need to charge back an item than your paypal balance or paypal credit (bill me later). Trust me here, I had to do this last fall with Terrahash and Bitmine.ch. One was paypal and the other was a credit card. The credit card was infinitely easier to charge back when the company failed to deliver. My question is why a SP30? Buying pre-order hardware right now is very risky no matter how well a company has preformed in the past. I highly recommend buying in stock miners or waiting until a miner you like is in stock.

Using Paypal is not confidential. And clearly paypal can lead to chargebacks and scamming.

I've seen too many scams using crypto-currencies in this forum and elsewhere, so .. PayPal-eBay is the best choice ever because they have a buyer protection policy and money back guarantee. jojojojojo salute!!

Hello. I don't have one for sale, but I do have a word of caution about Paypal. I presume you want to use their services because of their Buyer protection, am I right? If so, be aware that you will not necessarily be eligible for it. For example, if you pay the person through Paypal's option of "send money to friends or family", then you are not covered. Also, when you buy a custom-made item (which this one is kind of is), again, you are not covered. I would suggest reading the exact terms carefully, as you are about to spend a very large sum of money. For your convenience, here's a link for terms (based on Paypal in the USA): https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/ua/useragreement-full?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US#13Hope it helped, good luck with your purchase, hope it'll end well for you. Cheers

You are welcome. I would recommend using a reputable ESCROW agreed by both parties (i.e. you and the seller). As they say, check, check and double check again. And always read the small letters at the end of any agreement
