I'm trying to build a completely anonymous identity with the help of tor and gpg.
I've encountered a roadblock, though, in the "IRC" stage.
The tor network has been klined/glined/zlined from freenode (which I respect) but freenode requires a user to be registered in order for that user to be able to connect via the alternate, tor-friendly path.
Unfortunately, this ends up being a catch-22, because I have to register to log on, but I have to log on to register.
I emailed the given address (iirc firstname.lastname@example.org
) a few hours ago, but I was wondering if the bitcoin forum peeps could help me out here:
I'll offer a 1 btc bounty for registering me an account on freenode:
The username should be Neozashi, and anything else I think I can change once I'm logged on.
I guess if I find someone to help me with this (hello) we could continue in this thread, or in PM?
