So how are the payouts made for the dice game?  Let's say someone does the Martingale system (ie. doubles his bet after each loss in a row) and eventually ends up betting a large amount.  What covers the other side?
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Payouts come from the coinbase, so you'll go broke before the house Smiley

For the lottery, I understand the coinbase as the "pot" that everyone puts in to play.  When the numbers are drawn, the rewards are distributed from the 0.85 x pot.

Is this the same coinbase definition for the dice?  If so, then if only two people play and one bets 1 LTS and the other 0.2 LTS, how much would the 1 LTS player get if he wins?

All bets are destroyed - sent to an unspendable address.

All wins are paid from the coinbase. The 1 LTS player will receive 2LTS assuming a winning 50/50 bet.

Probably because the low float, no body has a big amount of LTS right now due to lock up period. I gambled away my 300 LTS that were available immediately, and it was hard to resist the urge to just buy from exchange to gamble again, I guess a lot of the people couldn't resist the urge.

I'm still waiting impatiently for my 19k LTS to unlock after ... er 230k confirmations.

Hey everyone.  My mac crashed and I'm trying to import my backup wallet but it's not working.  Can anyone help?

Anyone?  Do I have to reenter my private keys?

You could try the salvagewallet option.

Can you explain what this is?

After my computer crashed this is the only one of my coins I couldn't recover the wallet from the backup wallet.dat file.

Got it all sorted out man, thanks for all your help.  Roll Eyes

It seems like Lottoshares is the best coin to invest this 2014. Lottery and dice game in a wallet are great.  Smiley

Yes, this might not sound very exciting but my priorities at the moment are to

1. Monitor and ensure stability of blockchain and checkpointing

2. Encourage more DOGE holders to claim their LTS and participate - this should broaden, deepen and stabilize the market for LTS.

3. Look at options to transition to a more decentralized RNG/checkpointing method.

If you'd like to help - we can use a lot of help with point 2 - let Shibes know that they can claim upwards of $20 worth of LTS right away.
