Confirmed by mod that this is not in violation of the forum rules. See: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=694692.0It wont be a lot but if you have done something awesome for the monero community without being compensated, ask in this thread and ill send you a little something. Please do not post an address publicly in this thread. Petition for compensation publicly but only PM me the actual address and only if I ask for it.

I'll go first. I've contributed by trying to save CN investors from their stupidity. Sadly, the neurological degeneration has advanced beyond intervention.

This is confusing seeing as monero is a cryptonote platform. Have you attempted to save monero investors from investing in monero? I don't think a donation would be appropriate for that. Or do you just mean other cryptonote platforms besides monero?

I know GreekBitcoin was working with a friend to put together an android widget. It's working and in the app store. I still continue to use it, and enjoy it greatly! I'll look for a post and try to add it here. Also, someone put a wikia together, not sure who. Still some ways to go, but it's something that seems to have been done for the community (I think): http://monero.wikia.com/wiki/Monero_Wiki

Thanks

can this also be done in the past - I am not entirely sure if I want to make it a) public and b) if someone else did the same - I think we all profited by that quite massively

Ive been promoting this coin since the early days. When I saw the potential Bytecoin had, I knew Monero, with a fair launch and decent team would take the lead. I think Monero will eventually predate the DRK market as it is objectively superior technology for the goal (anonimity). I just cant think of any reason why anyone would use a cryptocurrency that isn't monero if this person wanted as much privacy as technologically posible to date.

I translated the monero.cc Getting started page to Bulgarian. I wrote the first news about Monero in Bulgarian ( http://changetheworldwork.com/cryptonote-monero/) and it got cited and linked in a popular Bulgarian exchanges ( https://coinfixer.com/novini/cryptonote-nov-protokol-za-kriptovaluti/) and ( http://bitcoini.com?r=489 ). I helped many new members to get easier into Monero by providing user support whenever I could. Last but not least I generated a Brainfuck ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brainfuck) code to print "Monero is the best!" to the screen: ++++++++[>+>++>+++>++++>+++++>++++++>+++++++>++++++++>+++++++++>++++++++++>+++++++++++>++++++++++++> +++++++++++++>++++++++++++++>+++++++++++++++>++++++++++++++++<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<-]>>>>>>>>>>---.+++<<<<< <<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>-.+<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>--.++<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>---.+++<<<<<<<<<<<<< >>>>>>>>>>>>>>++.--<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>-.+<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>.<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>+.-<<<<<<<<<<<<< >>>>>>>>>>>>>>+++.---<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>.<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>----.++++<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>.<<<<<< <<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>---.+++<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>.<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>++.--<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>---.+++<<<<< <<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>+++.---<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>----.++++<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>+.-<<<<.

Sweet. Where can i see this? It was never published (I don't know why). I was given access by David Latapie to a monero.cc empty page to translate the "getting started" and I've done it - we never talked about any compensation for the translation and I never asked for a such.
