Pretty good news that big site owners are getting in on the scene maybe more people will get interested. I don't think this news will affect the price of Bitcoin or get many interested though.

It won't affect price such a relatively small thing, but he clearly has an understanding of potential and impact.
he is also a multi multi millionaire self-made , a tech guy and very intelligent

other people, (plus he must have many prominent friends in tech community) will sit up and notice

plus someone like himself will no doubt have been to bbqs and parties etc and discussed it with prominent people, he's on board for xapo too

this is just one of hundreds of positive such things in past few months

Price isn't usually affected by news like this - the only time it rises with 'good' news is when there is anticipation, in which case the whales fuel a surge in the price, only to dump hard on your hopes and dreams.

Still, it is encouraging when folk who are more experienced/qualified/successful than many of us make remarks like this.

This kind of thing is always good to read. People that know how to make money seeing bit coin as a strong investment is reassuring and could help speed things along. Still time to grab cheap bit coin, but not for much longer.

The funny thing about this is that it doesn't look like LinkedIn accepts bitcoins for their premium accounts.  Not that I'd ever pay for my LinkedIn account given the insane amount of money they charge, but you'd think if the cofounder is investing in bitcoins, they'd accept it for their subscriptions too.

Good news, but then again, it's not that difficult to guess that Bitcoin in the longterm will gain in value. So investing now will for sure pay off after a few years.
