Hi All

In the instructions for these miners its  states that they need to be on a 192.168.1.XXX which is mine on my router BUT my friend Virgin Superhub is 192.168.0.1.

I played with the router settings for HOURS and could get it to see the Miner on 192.168.1.XXX BUT it would not mine/connect to pool.

Could i just not change the IP address of the miner on my router to 192.168.0.XXX and then take it to my friends house ?

Would this be OK ??

Thanks

Have you tried gateway IP, and Miner IP both with the .0. ?   I personally have not tried with .0. but those are the settings that would have to be changed to get it to work.  And you can check subnet mask with ipconfig on windows just to make sure it's proper number.

Mate i played for HOURS !!!

I ha the miner recognised and could connect to it, BUT when i entered pool details it would not mine ??

I would just LOVE to know if i could just take it next door where it mines away happily on 192.168.1.xxx and change the ip to 192.168.0.xxx.

That would be simpler.....

Cheers

Can you watch this thread s i will need to get one up/running withing next few days on 192.168.0.1 router..

If you can log into the web interface, but can not mine then your default gateway is wrong.
I have multiple internet connections here in China, most of them don't give problems, because you can
change the settings in the modem yourself. I have recently add another internet connection.
Cable internet with internet television from China Unicom, you can't change settings in the modem they
provide. The default gateway is set to 192.168.88.254 in this modem, I can't get the miners work on this connection.
At the end I plug another router behind the China Unicom modem/router to get it to work.

If you can't change the settings in your router, then you might in the same situation.
If you need more help.
Post more info about your setup.
