TheMage is a nice guy. I've interacted with him before on the LTC board.
But as long as LA remains a closed group, it can't grow.
LA wasn't a closed group. It was open to everyone. I joined a month ago. Recently (about 3 weeks ago) they have temporarily stopped new memberships as they reorganize membership types. Once that is finalized they will open it up again.

The current board of directors (I will go by their handles) are Carnth, Crazik, Seansoutpost, and Weex. The ambassadors are myself and Kyrio.

As for the above, the LA was formed with a group of folks before it exploded. I wish I could give you an answer if there will be elections in the future but at this time I have no idea. I'll try to reach out to you in the future if this changes and I find out
