Hello APEX Community,

We have been in contact with several well known multipool operators, as well as some people who can implement Tor (The Onion Router) protocol into APEX. Ideally, we will likely have both in time. However, with the recent drop in price, we only have enough to pursue one first, then the other after the price rises. Alternatively, we can use the 100k that has been set aside. We wanted to hear the community's thoughts before making a final decision.

Should we pursue the multipool first, Tor later? Tor first, multipool later? Or just do both and use the 100k? Let us know what you think!

Voting ends in 2 days (48 hours).

It doesn't make sense to use the 100k, doing either first though will benefit the coin in their own way. Multipool is good for rising the price, however though there needs to be a set of miners dedicated to mining that coin. Even it it means that the devs either send their rigs to it permanently or everyone strongly invested in this coin just aims one GPU at the multipool it will continue with strength. Best example would be comparing sync to liberty. Sync is always been strong cause the multipool always had a decent group of miners supporting it, the value held.

TOR also will give the coin more publicity with use and also raise the price, however again it needs continuous support otherwise it will just rise and drop. In my personal opinion I would say multipool first. Even if it only is very popular for a couple of months, the coin value stays high and then the value of the devs coin is greater giving them more options. The value of using Tor will only last a few weeks before it is swapped with another coin and another change will need to be made.

Just my 2 cents

Almost all PoS/PoW have multipools so they don't stand out at all and in actuality they usually contribute a tiny fraction of the daily volume. On the other hand TOR is a very sought after feature and is guaranteed to boost this coin. I personally voted for TOR but I wouldn't mind the "both" option.

Thank you for the input so far. Good points from both sides so far.

Multi-signature addresses. Merchant adoption by gaming companies should be looked at also.

Multi-signature addresses is a very nice feature. As for gaming companies adopting the currency, that would be a nice direction but we would require the right indie game dev to take interest. There is huge potential in this area, and so many have great ideas, but so few have the actual skills to pull it off, and even less would be willing to do it for a reasonable price or for free(purely fees to user). That is an area we definitely would like to look at as the weeks go by.
