Hi All,

Get an Online wallet with free 5000 satoshi - Sign up for the online wallet:

https://in.xapo.com/ref/?c=7PW8WAO (Referral Link)

https://xapo.com/ (Non-Referral Link)

Can someone confirm if this is an india based company? The URL is in.xapo.com, could this be india based or have they just identified my location and used the local site?

Thanks!

Have a nice day!

I must say! I was very wrong when I came here at first!

Xapo seems a very good thing - it might became a best from any online wallets I knew ...
I clearly forgot about :

I believe for $20m+ and with great idea you can build something what is a really good product.

Answering the OP question:
Quote
California-based bitcoin security company Xapo has raised $20m as part of an initial round of fundraising led by Benchmark, Fortress Investment Group and Ribbit Capital.

Right, thanks for that information and the clarification. BTW it appears that they have generated $40 million, does that make it more secure? Im not really sure. They do claim to have an insurance setup where they replace your bitcoins if stolen, but we will have to wait for someone to lose them in the first place to verify that claim!! Smiley

You want to be cautious
The deposit insurance will most likely not cover non US customers

Indeed, but i dont think im going to use their vault anyways, too costly in my opinion! Smiley Im going to use this as a transaction wallet and transfer funds to my desktop wallet which is fairly secure Smiley

From https://xapo.com/home/about/

Quote
XAPO COMBINES THE CONVENIENCE OF AN EVERYDAY BITCOIN WALLET WITH THE SECURITY OF A DEEP COLD STORAGE VAULT.

A nice sales speech. But it does not happen in reality.

Security is for Cold Wallet. Hot Wallet will always come with some risk + They are offering CoinBase type centralization.

p.s. I wonder why most of today's Bitcoin sites come up with a Bootstrap UI !!! It is so common now !!!
