Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Why didn't you trade with someone trusted? Like Dr-Exchanger? Why just a random guy?

Next time check their trust and be sure to look under "Untrusted feedback" before trading. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=344863 - You would have seen he already scammed. Anyone selling paypal to new members is most likely a scammer.

You might want to take down that screenshot or blackout your email address unless you want paypal to know you're buying BTC Wink

PayPal actually allows people to buy/sell Bitcoin, just offers zero protection if something goes wrong.

It goes without saying, selling cryptocurrency with paypal is the worst thing you can do. Good way to end up broke.

I noted that my the transaction was for a certain trade incase of any scams.

Also highly recommend staying away from the following people as well:

This guy is still active, I almost sent him some paypal until I saw this thread.

Also you guys really need to leave him negative trust feedback so other people don't fall for his scam.....

Check under "Untrusted feedback"... Couple of people left feedback, including me. Most don't show up because we're not on the default trust list Wink

I've had a similar experience to the OP with PedritoCR.  I've refrained from leaving negative feedback but now I'm sure he deserves it.
