Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Next time check their trust and be sure to look under "Untrusted feedback" before trading. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=344863 - You would have seen he already scammed. Anyone selling paypal to new members is most likely a scammer. You might want to take down that screenshot or blackout your email address unless you want paypal to know you're buying BTC  |

This guy is still active, I almost sent him some paypal until I saw this thread.
Also you guys really need to leave him negative trust feedback so other people don't fall for his scam.....

I've had a similar experience to the OP with PedritoCR. I've refrained from leaving negative feedback but now I'm sure he deserves it.
