Hi ,

I am putting out a Bounty on the successful, arrest and convection of Deepak Chawla, (what ever his real name is.)

This is how it is  going to work .

All those who have been scammed please contact me via pm and i  will link you all together.
Those who have been scammed please  make sure  you have proper paper trails, and bank records  saved, even the BTC address and TX numbers.

I will put in a initial Rs 5000/- as a donation to pay legal fee for lawyers. Any one  who would like to contribute please pledge your amount and i will collect the amount either in fiat or BTC, when the lawyer needs to be  paid.
ONLY PLEDGE IF YOU ARE A 100% SURE YOU WILL COMMIT TO THE AMOUNT WHEN THE FEES NEEDS TO BE PAID.

Once there is  enough people  gathered, those who have been  scammed by the above scammer. The lawyer will initiate Criminal Legal process, This will be some thing like a  Class action lawsuit.

Note: i am doing this to protect the  community and to send a  message out to all those who  are think of scamming people. I am not the  one  who got  scammed but  just  sick of  seeing  this  idiot spoiling the community.

Pledge amount (INR):

            1.) 5,000/-
            2.) 5,000/-

Total =Rs 10,000.00/-

You can pledge the  donation  anonymously, just pm me and i will  ensure you stay anonymous.

The bounty is for the payment of legal fees only.

This has been  a  long time coming.

the community  needs  to  stick  together and protect it self from bad actors. We need the  scammers to know that they  try to  scam anyone there is  a  community  willing to  get  justice.

I will again reiterate that i alone can't do this, and requires the community to step up and protect each other. I will spark the light, but we need to kindle this flame into a raging fire.

a strong community would mean a strong and prosperous bitcoin future for all.

I see that people want to get rid of scammers very much Smiley

I believe a dark days for scammers are on the way. When we will unite there will be no posibility to just scam and walk away.

We will hunt you. We will find you. You will pay.

No remorse! No regret!

I agree with this completely, if we do not do this, then it is an invitation for someone to come in and regulate and that would suck.

It is interesting to see that the Indian Bitcoin community is standing together to prosecute a scammer. I wish this sends +ve signal to the authorities, if they are watching this move.

Guys I think all the people who have been scammed at some stage or recently should post the name and details of the scammer, if any. Just by appreciating the effort it wont do any gud. Subvolatil has already made his contribution and so should others, if not in bounty then by listing the scammers. I would try my best to hunt these guys down with the help of knowledge and force of courts. I would want the victims from Delhi (Specially) to step up and tell about it.

Maybe I have been sleeping under a rock .. but ... what exactly has (s)he done?

subvolatil, can you update the OP with links and some summary of the case? Generally people will be more interested if there is info and links to stories from victims.

I thought  every one knew who this  guy was. Basically this  guy scams any one new to bitcoin and runs away with their money, We believe  there are more of his victims that have not come  forward.  any ways i will link to  the scam  accusation from the reputation thread.

This idiot tried to scam me twice. I have his BTC address and phone number. True caller says that he is based somewhere in Chattisgarh (Number: 7836923038). He gave me his email address: replyraju79@gmail.com
his BTC address is 14ivd4ePwYA6ciSwxMxuLdMJdpqNuPbfip. Looks like he has scammed people of 118 BTC when you check the transactions on blockchain. He is gambling with the money currently.

He also tried to impersonate Anup from LB, not sure if that would further add up to charging him under more sections of the IPC! I have the whatsapp log of my conversation with him.

The last time ayush tried to take action, the cops chased him away, hence couldn't we call the guy at odd times of the night to disturb him? Maybe flood him with messages on whatsapp and otherwise? I know this sounds childish, but what else can be done when the people who are supposed to protect us from such anti-social elements are shooing us away! Sad
